What this site does and does not do with your information. The short version: these pages collect nothing, and your calculator inputs never leave your browser.
We are engineers, not advertisers, and this policy is written the way we would want to read one — plainly. It covers the public reference site you are on now. The web application at app.estimotor.online is a separate, account-based service and is dealt with in its own section below.
Every page on estimotor.online is a plain HTML file. There is no login, no user database, no comment box and no contact form. When you open a page, our web server sees the ordinary technical minimum any web server sees — the address the page was sent to and which page was requested — in routine server logs used only to keep the site running. We build no profile of you from it.
If your browser shows a cookie from this site, it did not come from us.
The calculators run entirely inside your browser as local scripts. The quantities you type — spans, thicknesses, mix proportions, bar diameters, whatever belongs to your estimate — are processed on your own machine and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Close the tab and they are gone. You can satisfy yourself of this: the calculator pages work even with your internet connection switched off once the page has loaded.
Contact with us happens over ordinary e-mail to contact@estimotor.online or support@estimotor.online. If you write to us we will hold your message and address for as long as the correspondence and any licence it leads to require, and we use them only to reply and to serve you. We do not sell, rent or share correspondence with third parties, and we do not add you to any mailing list you did not ask for. Ask us to delete a past exchange and we will, unless a licence record obliges us to keep it.
eTAB Works-Estimator™ (web edition) at app.estimotor.online necessarily works differently: it has organisation accounts, sign-in, and stores the estimates, agreements and bills your organisation creates in it — that is its job. Use of the application is governed by its own terms of service and the licence agreement between Estimotor and your organisation, presented within the application itself. Nothing on the public site reads from or writes to your application account.
The proforma templates on the resources page are plain files served from this site. Downloading one tells us nothing about you beyond the ordinary server log entry described above.
This site is professional reference material for working engineers. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone — child or adult — because there is nothing here that collects.
If the site ever changes in a way that affects this policy — for instance, if a form or analytics were ever added — this page will be revised first and the revision date above updated. Since the promise here is essentially "we collect nothing", any weakening of it would be stated in plain words, not buried.
